What Is Addenda In LEED?

Addenda is the term that combines all the changes, improvements, issued LEED interpretations, and modifications made to a LEED rating system. Just like a piece of software updates itself once a week or so to incorporate the latest updates, LEED rating systems are updated with addendas.

After LEED v4 was released, addenda have been continuously issued at USGBC’s website, which combines all the updates made to that rating system through LEED interpretations, modifications, and improvements. In addition, a project that registers with LEED Online after any issued addenda will be automatically subject to that addenda’s requirements as well.
